Raita

                                                                      Raita


Ingredients:

Onions                           2

Carrot                             1

Coriander leaves            3/4 cup

Green Chilies                 2

Cucumber                       3 small pieces

Curd                                1 cup

Preparation Method:

Finely chop the onions, cucumber, coriander leaves, carrot and green chilies.

Add salt to all the finely chopped ingredients.

In a bowl, add curd and all the salted ingredients.

Mix it well. Mouth-watery Raita is ready!!






Fish Fry

Ingredients:

Fish                                3

Turmeric powder           a pinch

Salt                                 1 tsp

Chili Powder                  1/2 tsp

Pepper Powder               1/2 tsp

Lime Juice                      3 tsp

Vegetable oil                  4 tbsp


Preparation Method:

Wash the fish pieces well with a pinch of turmeric powder.

In a plate, add salt, chili powder, pepper powder, lime juice and a little water.

Mix it well with fish pieces.

Marinate the fish pieces for 15 or 20 minutes.

Heat oil in a tawa and fry the fish pieces on both sides for 5 to 10 minutes on a medium flame.

Delicious Fish fry pieces are ready!!!


Baadusha

Ingredients

All purpose flour          250 gm

Salt                               a pinch

Sugar                             250 gm

Vegetable oil                 250 ml

Curd                               1/2 cup

Baking Powder              2 tsp

Butter                             5 tsp

Preparation Method :

Dough Preparation:

In a bowl, add the all purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of sugar, salt, curd, baking powder and butter. Mix it well.

Sprinkle a few drops of water and mix it well.

In a vessel, add water to the sugar and prepare the sugar syrup.

Heat oil in a bowl on a medium flame.

Just take a small amount of dough and rotate it with two hands and make a whole by pressing with your forefinger.

Fry it well on a medium flame till it gets brown.

Add the fried baadushas in a sugar syrup.

Now the Delicious Baadushas are ready!

Moong Dhal Pakoda

Ingredients :

Moong Dhal                      200 gm

Onion                                 1 ( big in size)

Green Chili                         2

Salt                                     ( to taste)

Chili Powder                      1/2 tsp

Curry leaves                      6-7 (finely chopped)

Coriander leaves                1 small cup

Ginger paste                       1/2 tsp

Garlic paste                        1/2 tsp

Vegetable oil                      400 gm

Preparation Method :

Soak the moong dal for half an hour. Wash it well and grind it in a blender by adding a few drops of water.

In a bowl, with this grinded moong dal, add the chopped onions, green chilies, salt, chili powder, ginger paste, garlic paste, curry leaves and coriander leaves. Mix it well.

Heat oil in a pan. Fry the mixture by just pulling through your thumb.

If you need a crunchy pakoda, fry it deeply. But be cautious frying too much will be very hard to eat.

As it gets brown, the delicious Moong dal Pakoda is ready to eat!!

Home-made Tandoori chicken

                                                       Chicken  Tandoori



Ingredients

Chicken pieces         3 or 4 (in large)

Ginger paste             2 tsp

Garlic paste              2 tsp

Salt                           (to taste)

Pepper powder         1/2 tsp

Chili powder             3/4 tsp

Chicken masala         4 tsp
powder      

Lime juice                  100 ml

Kesari powder            (optional)

Preparation Method :

Wash the chicken pieces well. Stir the chicken pieces well in lime juice.

Keep it aside for 5 minutes.

In a plate, add salt, pepper, chili powder, pepper powder, chicken masala powder, ginger paste, garlic paste and the kesari powder.

The kesari powder is optional. I do not prefer to use this much.

Mix all the ingredients well in a bowl or in a plate.

Cut the chicken slightly on each pieces, so that the masala will blend with the pieces very well.

Rub the masala in each chicken pieces.

Pre-heat the oven for 10 minutes at 250 degree.

Keep the chicken in the oven for 20 -25 minutes.

You can check it often.

Delicious and mouth- watery Tandoori Chicken is ready!!!
